bODYWORK, ENERGYWORK, AND MANUAL THERAPY
BE IN YOUR BODY
Reiki and Shamanism
Reiki
Universal life energy that is transmitted from one body to another with intention. What to expect in a long distance reiki healing. 20 minutes of check in on how you are and create a plan of how to take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. 40 minutes of the client lying down at your home and receiving life force energy to calm and strengthen the entire nervous system, with clairvoyant messages from spirit. This provides connection and alignment. The mind becomes more clear on decisions that have been hard to make due to the disconnection felt in spirit.
Shamanism
Every shamanic journey is unique to each individual. Tanya will be using drums, rattles, crystal healing bowls, voice, among other instruments to invite a conversation with the spirit world as we journey together for the intention of opening and healing.
Cranio-sacral therapy
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Cranio-sacral therapy is a gentle non-invasive form of bodywork with profound therapeutic effects. Tanya Woods works with the lightest touch to support small movements of the bones, membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. CST is a whole-body approach that aims to release restrictions and enhance the body’s natural healing processes by supporting the central nervous system. This work is helpful for stress and tension related disorders, headaches, migraines, TMJ syndrome, chronic neck and back pain.
Tanya Woods specializes in pregnancy, postpartum, infants, and motor vehicle accident rehabilitation.
Infant Cranio-Sacral Therapy-A soft transformative touch that creates more space throughout the forming skull, spine and pelvis. This modality is effective for babies who had a fast labor, long labor, and were born by cesarean section. Very helpful for colic, nursing complications, digestive difficulties, babies who turn their head to one side, sleeping difficulties to name just a few. There is 50% growth in the spine the first year of a child’s life. Cranio-sacral therapy helps gently align the infant’s body which will positively affect them for the rest of their life

Body Work
A service for everyone. I specialize in women making life changes with their feminine side, listening deeply to their own intuition; wanting clairvoyant guidance through big life transitions. Prenatal and Postpartum
Prenatal (Swedish)Benefits include:Increases circulation, stimulates the flow of lymph which helps to lessen edema.Reduces stress hormones in the body, facilitating a feeling of well being.Assists in shorter labor for expectant mothers, as well as less need for medication.Less depression and anxiety, and shorter hospital stays.
Postpartum Home Visit for the Family

- Babies who favor one breast or position for nursing
- Babies who seem overly sensitive
- Babies who hate tummy time
- Teething babies
- Non-sleeping babies
- Children who have mobility issues
- Children who have sensory issues
- Children who have vision issues
Pediatrics
Pediatric massage is a great way to learn boundaries around the body and gives a tangible experience for a child to advocate for their needs to be met in a neutral environment. I always ask and make sure I receive consent to build a trusting relationship for therapeutic experience during massage. My work is intuitive. I work with each person individually listening to each child needs. My work ranges from relaxation, injury rehabilitation and energy work.
Teens
Massage, bodywork, cranio-sacral therapy, reiki for teens is beneficial to connect with their rapidly changing body and mind. Coming into a neutral space to feel supported from the myriad of stresses of daily life. A 30 minute session supports the relaxation of the nervous system. A regulated nervous system during physiological advancements makes a teens life radically different. The experience alone of knowing what it feels like to have regulation through the body during the lengthy transition of becoming an adult builds confidence within one’s self. Sessions are designed to teach teens to look and feel within their own mind and body to trust their intuition. Instead of looking outside of themselves to find an answer we work with looking and asking within to keep the innate wisdom alive and not made small during this time of life.
Motor Vehicle Accident Claim
It is very important to get therapeutic massage after an injury or trauma. This includes a car accident, even if you don’t feel like you were not injured immediately. It could take up to on month before your body fully feels all of the soft tissue injuries that can occur during a car accident. It is common for people who have been in a car accident to have a concussion, even if your head doesn’t physically hit something. If you are looking for therapeutic massage to recover from a car accident. I bill insurance directly, a prescription is required from your doctor, ad Personal Injury Protection(PIP)/auto insurance pays for your treatments.
What is a pelvic steam, and why would I want to do this?
A pelvic steam is when you sit over steam and herbs (chosen specifically for your body) to help tonify and cleanse the uterus. The uterus has a natural monthly cleanse. We can support this monthly cleanse through herbs and steam for desired results.
I have been sharing vaginal steaming in my birth and postpartum education classes for the last 10 years. It has been a very basic form of steaming for postpartum care. I used steaming to get pregnant at age 40. I tried to get pregnant unsuccessfully for 6 months, then steamed 3 days in a row, my next cycle I was pregnant. I now have a beautiful 4.5 year old boy. I also steamed postpartum for self care. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to get certified, become more educated on steaming, to support my clients and community. Since, I have done the training, and have been steaming for 3 cycles, I no longer have incontinence. I have also lengthened my periods from 21 days to 25. I believe steaming is a missing link to women’s healthcare! I specialize in creating a steam plan for pregnant women to become labor ready. Please reach out if you have questions.
